Using Robust Governance Practices in ESG to Stamp out Greenwashing

2023-06-08 @ 8:00 am 9:00 am London

ESG – Environment, Social, Governance – is a critical focus for organisations worldwide and across industries. Pressures come from all angles: corporate investors, stakeholders, boards, regulators, employees, customers, partners, and society in general. Organisations have to do something for ESG, and the pressures are mounting.

At the end of the day, ESG is about the organisation’s integrity. What the organisation commits to in policies and ESG statements in the context of environmental, social, and governance practices has to be a reality and not smoke and mirrors. Organisations must demonstrate they are serious about their ESG commitments and live by them. There is an ongoing fight to address greenwashing.

In this webinar, we will explore how an organisation can maintain its ESG integrity and avoid greenwashing using robust governance practices. Attendees will learn:

  • How ESG starts with the G in good governance practices
  • How to clearly define ESG objectives as a starting point
  • From there, how to address uncertainty and act with integrity throughout the business and its relationships to avoid greenwashing
  • The role of content and technology to maintain ESG integrity
